There are no residential collections made on these holidays:
- New Year's Day, Sunday, January 1, 2012 – Due to the holiday falling on a Sunday, there will be no delays in service the following week. Please set out waste and recycling containers for collection on your regularly scheduled service day.
- Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012
- Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, 2012
- Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2012
- Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2012
- Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2012
Please set out waste and recycling containers for collection on your regularly scheduled service day for all other holidays, including: Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, Lincoln’s Birthday, Presidents’ Day, Washington’s Birthday, Cesar Chavez Day and Veterans’ Day.
Holidays which fall on Saturday DO NOT delay waste removal services for the remainder of the week.
Holidays which fall on Sunday DO NOT delay waste removal services for the remainder of the week.
Collection days following the holiday will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
Following each designated holiday that occurs on a weekday, waste removal services will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. Example: following Thanksgiving, service regularly scheduled on Thursday will be performed on Friday, and normal Friday pick up will be done on Saturday. (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday collection will be conducted without interruption).

Holidays that occur on Monday will delay service for the remainder of the week. |
Holiday service is moved to the next day if performed on or following a holiday. |
If your regular service day occurs before a holiday, your service day remains the same. |
If regular service day is Thursday, it will be moved to Friday following the holiday. |
If regular service day is Friday, it will be moved to Saturday following the holiday. |
