Ramona Disposal Service Implements Single Stream Recycling Program
On July 1, 2006, Ramona Disposal Service implemented a new recycling program called single stream for residential customers. What does this mean to you, our customer? You may now place all of your recyclable materials in your 12-gallon recycle bin or your 32-gallon can. Look for this mailer with details (PDF).
Recycling has never been easier. You may commingle or mix the following recyclable materials:
- Glass Bottles & Jars (clear and colored glass)
- Steel/Tin/Aluminum Cans (Aluminum and steel/tin cans)
- Plastic Containers (plastic bottles, jugs and jars marked with the 1 or 2 or labeled CA Redemption Value (CRV) or CA Cash Refund (water bottles, milk jugs, soda bottles)
- Paper (newspaper, writing paper, boxes, magazines, brochures, phone books, shoe and cereal boxes.
- Cardboard and Mixed Paper
For more information on your NEW single-stream recycling program please contact a customer service representative at 760-789-0516. Residential recycling service is not available to customers in Warner Springs, Lake Morena, Jamul or Dalzura.
